Last night I was going through my old self portraits, and realized when I had no models around to portray what I wanted…there was much more pressure to produce good self portraits. With this being said, self portraits are something that take a long time to master, in my opinion. Lately, I don’t remember the last time I experimented with my own face. I feel like I’ve lost my touch. Today I tried, for the first time in a while, and miserably failed. So instead of a photo portrait, I’ve made a video self portrait using the Canon 7D. I’m still experimenting with DSLR video, and learning how to use Adobe Premiere Pro. It’s a challenge, but defiantly one I’m willing to take on. Until I master this, expect many amateur videos.
