March 27th, 2009 §
Yesterday after work around 6pm, we (Corwin) left for Dirty Jersey for a photo event (http://snapmup.ning.com/). The weather was really nice, it poured the whole way there, and it was extremely hard to see with the millions of trucks that were on the freeway. We finally get to the street we are supposed to be on, and end up going into the wrong building, called the “Sukkah Lounge”. Inside we found an odd looking man with a yamaca, we booked it. Enough said.
This was my first time at a “photo meet up”. It was very interesting. Girls walking around naked, fetish models, old photographers, young photographers, make up artists. It was pretty insane. There was so many backdrops and lights set throughout the entire space. Models were posing as millions of people were trying to take their photos. It resembled the paparazzi. My favs. I didn’t get into that. I’m more into organized shots.
We left this place around 1am, got to Harrisburg at 4am. I figured I might as well go into work. So as of right now, I have not slept in 30+ hours, and I’m past the point of exhaustion. I’m delusional. I’m pretty positive there was a Pink song playing in my head, that I was convinced was coming from the radio.
The fun don’t stop here. Later tonight I have a birthday dinner to attend, and to drop off some wedding photos. When I finally go to sleep..I’ll be in a coma for a few days.

This weekend was such a good way to start spring. It was perfect! The weather was gorgeous all weekend. Friday night I went to Manhattan for the first time with some friends. We went to Webster Hall for BoysNoize. It was so good. It’s refreshing to see something that goes on from 10pm -5am. Seeing as how everything in Harrisburg closes at 2, oh except Wal-mart. But lets get serious. Today Sanja took me to the roof of one of the schools buildings. All I’m going to say is, there is a revolution about to happend. I took some cute polariods this weeknd as well, but I’m going to be scanning those in tomorrow, when I’m more awake.

I’ve been inspired to shoot film. I really want to do both digital and film, all the time. There is something about both of them, that I desire. I got my hands on a lot of film. I plan on shooting all of it, mostly in Europe. Today I hooked up my scanner and scanned some old photos in.

As promised–new photos. I also updated the website. Which is currently giving me some issues. Thank god Jason just fixed it. Apparently Lunarpages hates me, surprised? Nah
I’ve been reading up on beauty shots. This is my first time doing them. I am very pleased. Working with Mandi was amazing. I just fed her some OJ, she loved it. We took over 500 photos, I narrowed it down to 180. I will probably be editing more, and updating this entry.
The last photo is of Jessica. She wanted to make a sexy calendar for her boyfriends birthday. Obviously you can’t see the rest.
